TheMotoHub (the "App") is operated by Tristar MX LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim for plain language — if anything is unclear, contact bobby@tristarmx.com.
Data we collect
- Account info: email address (required to sign in), display name, username, role (racer / partner / fan), and profile photo if you upload one.
- Racer details: if you apply as a racer — race number, class, hometown, optional date of birth and AMA license number, team name, manufacturer, bike model, social handles, and any other fields you submit on the application form.
- Partner details: if you apply as a partner — company name, website, brand category, sponsorship tier codes you choose to share, and any contingency program info you submit.
- Content you create: posts, comments, follows, votes, sponsorship applications, and any media you upload.
- Device data: push notification token (if you opt in), basic device type and OS for compatibility, and anonymized usage events to understand which features people use.
How we use it
- To run your account and the App's features.
- To verify racer eligibility against the championship registration roster.
- To send you transactional email (magic-link sign-in, password resets, application decisions, race-day notifications you opt into).
- To improve the App — bug fixing, feature usage analysis, and performance monitoring.
- To enforce our Terms and protect the App against abuse, spam, or fraud.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with vendors that help us operate the App, all bound by data-protection agreements:
- Supabase — database, authentication, file storage. (US-hosted.)
- Vercel — application hosting and edge infrastructure.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Apple Push Notification Service / Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notification delivery (only if you enable notifications).
Your choices
- Edit your profile at any time from /me.
- Disable push notificationsin your device's settings or in /settings.
- Sign out from /settings — your data stays, your session ends.
- Delete your account from /settings — we permanently delete your profile, posts, comments, follows, and applications. Some records may be retained briefly in backups before they age out.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the App. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in the App or by email.
